Description du poste

About SHKS

At SHKS Architects, we believe great architecture emerges from curiosity, collaboration, and genuine relationships. We are seeking architects who are excited to work across a diverse range of civic, higher education, historic preservation, single family housing, and community-focused projects while contributing to a studio culture that values mentorship, humor, and design excellence.

SHKS was founded on friendship and that spirit continues to shape our practice today. Our practice has been shaped to be much like the buildings we design: adaptable, resilient, and comfortable. As a mid‑sized practice, everyone knows everyone else in both professional and social ways. Emerging professionals work directly with firm leaders and experienced project architects, gaining exposure to all phases of project delivery and opportunities for meaningful professional growth.

We are looking for people who want to contribute to the life of the studio; professionals committed to making our clients’ places and our own workplace more diverse, more comfortable, and more fun. We support continuing education, professional licensure, professional development, and active engagement in the broader design community.

Outside the office, you might find us tending the garden, volunteering with organizations such as Sawhorse Revolution and Furniture Repair Bank, or, weather permitting, returning to the volleyball court.

We make places to support and enrich people’s lives. That’s how we think about the practice, too. We encourage social, environmental, and professional responsibility and participation. SHKS is a place to grow.
