A recognized leader and licensed architect who is responsible for envisioning, designing and delivering exceptional projects for clients. Possesses strong communication skills, a flexible attitude, ability to solve problems creatively and ability to foster and manage effective client relationships. Responsible for high‑impact decisions. Provides technical leadership and acts as an advisor on projects. Endorses the firm’s values by personally influencing client service, innovation and communication. Acts as subject‑matter expert for technical solutions.
Education and Experience: Accredited professional degree in Architecture; Typically 15+ years of experience.
Licenses and Certifications: Architectural Registration required; Sustainable design accreditation preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Advanced skills in Revit, Navisworks and Bluebeam required; Intermediate skills in Rhino, Grasshopper, Dynamo, Twinmotion, Enscape or other visualization tools required; Intermediate skills in Illustrator and InDesign required; basic skills in Photoshop required; Advanced skills in MS Office Suite required; Advanced knowledge of sustainability and integrated design guidelines required; Advanced knowledge of materials, construction techniques, architectural building systems, building codes, accessibility guidelines and QA/QC process required; Advanced ability to research and apply/incorporate into implementation documents required; Advanced experience with the entire project lifecycle, through post‑occupancy required; Advanced presentation, graphic and visualization skills to communicate ideas required; Advanced organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time required; Advanced ability to manage team with diplomatic leadership style which puts value on relationships and collaboration, both internal and external required; Advanced ability to maintain existing client relationships and build new client relationships required; Advanced ability to communicate in a clear, concise and professional manner both verbally and in writing required; Advanced ability to problem solve and apply innovative solutions required; Advanced ability to collaborate and encourage collaboration in a team environment required; Advanced ability to effectively meet deadlines at expected quality.
Base Salary Range: $125k – $160k – applies to Seattle only. The estimate displayed represents the general base salary range of candidates hired at the Seattle locations only. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
