Five Star Parks & Attractions in Fairfax, VA is seeking a Game Technician to keep arcade games, simulators, and bowling equipment running smoothly. This part-time role focuses on troubleshooting, maintenance, and fast on-floor service to ensure a great guest experience.

You’ll work with a team of dedicated technicians, perform preventative care, and help identify issues before they affect operations. Prior arcade or maintenance exposure is a plus; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with arcade games or amusement equipment.
• Repair or troubleshoot electronics.
• Experience with coin-operated machines.
• Knowledge of electrical wiring.
• Maintenance technician background.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair arcade games, simulators, and bowling equipment.
• Respond to game floor service calls.
• Perform preventative maintenance on arcade machines.
• Keep workshop organized and safe.
• Assist with technician projects from the Technical Manager.
• Maintain machine appearance during hours of operation.
• Identify potential equipment issues and report early.

Job Summary

As a Game Technician, you’ll help ensure every guest has a great experience by keeping our games and attractions operating properly.

Responsibilities Include

• Troubleshoot and repair arcade games, simulators, and bowling equipment
• Respond to game floor service calls
• Perform preventative maintenance on arcade machines
• Perform preventative maintenance on arcade machines
• Maintain appearance and functionality of machines during operating hours
• Stock and maintain prize redemption and instant win games
• Complete weekly maintenance and cleaning checklists
• Assist with technician projects assigned by the Technical Manager
• Keep the workshop organized and safe
• Identify potential equipment issues and report them proactively

What We're Looking For

We’re seeking candidates who are mechanically inclined and enjoy repairing equipment.

Ideal Experience Includes

• Arcade games or amusement equipment
• Electronics repair or troubleshooting
• Coin-operated machines or pinball repair
• Electrical components or wiring
• Maintenance technician roles

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Ability to follow technical instructions
• Comfortable using basic computer programs (Microsoft Office)
• Ability to work independently and stay organized
