Job description

Three Oaks Hospitality’s collection of community-driven restaurants and bars is seeking a motivated and outgoing individuals to fill the role of Arcade Game Attendant for our newest concept 1983. An upscale sports bar with arcade located in South Tampa.

The Arcade Game Attendant is responsible for creating a fun, safe, and welcoming environment for all guests. They assist customers with games, troubleshoot minor technical issues, maintain cleanliness, and ensure machines are operating correctly. This is a front-line position that requires strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests and provide assistance with arcade games and attractions.
  • Educate guests on how to use card/token systems or game play instructions.
  • Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor arcade machines for malfunctions and report or perform basic troubleshooting.
  • Ensure machines are clean, working, and properly labeled.
  • Maintain a clean and organized arcade environment, including floors, machines, and common areas.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company policies.
  • Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems when required.
  • Handle tokens, cards, or ticket exchanges responsibly.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Friendly and approachable personality.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Basic technical aptitude to handle machine issues (training provided).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous hospitality, arcade, or customer service experience a plus, but not required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and move throughout the arcade.
  • May be exposed to loud noises, flashing lights, and large crowds.
