Job summary

Santikos Entertainment seeks a full-time Maintenance Technician to support arcade, bowling, and other gaming amenities in our theater operations. You’ll maintain equipment to keep gaming areas functioning properly and safely.

Responsibilities include repairing and replacing parts, performing coin drops, adjusting payouts, and completing daily logs. You’ll work with theater management to diagnose issues and ensure preventative maintenance is performed regularly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience in gaming operations or a related field.
• Experience maintaining arcade, bowling, laser tag and VR equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain games, bowling, laser tag and VR equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Order and replace parts when necessary.
• Inspect and perform coin drops on all games when on site to ensure proper operation.
• Adjust payout percentages for cranes, merchandisers and redemption games.
• Complete daily technical logs.
• Diagnose Out of Service games within 24 hours as reported by theatre management.
• Provide root cause analysis on payout variances and abnormal revenue trends.
• Ensure completion of daily and weekly preventative maintenance program.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures.
• Provide communication with theater management regarding gaming issues.
• Promote good working relationships with Santikos employees and departments.
• Other duties as assigned by Theater Director.

Position Type: Full Time

Provide maintenance and technical support for arcade, bowling, and other gaming amenities within the Entertainment operations of a movie theater. Maintain equipment to ensure that gaming areas within the Entertainment department function properly.

What would I be doing in this position?

• Maintain games, bowling, laser tag and Virtual Reality equipment to ensure proper operation
• Order and replace parts when necessary
• Inspect and perform “coin drops” on all games when on site to ensure proper operation
• Adjust payout percentages for cranes, merchandisers and redemption games
• Complete any daily technical logs
• Diagnose any “Out of Service” games within24 hours as reported by theatre management Provide root cause analysis on any payout variances from established standards, abnormal revenue trends and “Out of Service” games to theatre management team
• Ensure completion of daily and weekly preventative maintenance program
• Ensure continual compliance with all safety standards and procedures
• Provide consistent communication with theater management team regarding gaming issues
• Promote and maintain good working relationships with all Santikos employees and departments
• Other duties as assigned by the Theater Director
