Job summary

Round One Entertainment is hiring Customer Service Associates for the Amusement Department in Houston. If you enjoy video games, bowling, karaoke and thrive in a fun, people-centered environment, this is for you. A High School Diploma or GED is required, and staff handling alcohol must be 21 or older.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers during shifts to determine if their needs are met.

• Answer phone calls for general inquiries.
• Perform special projects and other duties as assigned by management.

Round One Entertainment is looking to hire Customer Service Associates for our Amusement Department.

Please note you MUST have a High School Diploma or GED to apply.

Please note that any staff handling alcohol must be at least 21 years or older. Open availability is preferred.

Benefits:

• 1 hour to play (non-prize) arcade games per week.
• 90 minutes of bowling per week (shoes included).
• 1 hour of karaoke/billiards per week.
• 50% discount on food items per working shift.
• 1 complimentary beverage per working shift.

Essential Duties:

• During assigned shifts engage customers to determine whether their needs are met.
• Maintain inventory levels in amusement games.
• Maintain games and counters clean and visibly attractive to customers’ eyes.
• Respond responsively, and politely with a friendly demeanor to customers’ requests.
• Answer phone calls for all general inquiries.
• Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.

Non-Essential Duties:

• Conduct alcohol and age restriction control according to company policies.
• Conduct lost and found procedures according to company policies.
• Seek constant improvement or more efficient and less expensive ways and means in department work processes.
• Comply with and maintain confidentiality of all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma and a minimum of one to two years of experience in a hospitality or retail environment.

Work Environment:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a bowling center/arcade environment where high levels of noise, dust, and activity can be expected.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Physical Demands:

• Bend, stretch, twist, climb, and maintain a high level of mobility/flexibility in small spaces regularly.
• Stand and walk for extended periods without breaks during busy times; use hands/fingers to handle, feel, and reach.
• Lifting and/or moving up to 100 lbs with assistance is required.
