The Salvation Army's Adult Rehabilitation Centers make a difference in people's lives. Through the collection and resale of gently used goods, we provide financial support to assist men and women with social and spiritual challenges. The in-residence rehabilitation program focuses on basic necessities, offering a clean and healthy living environment, good food, work therapy, leisure activities, counseling, and spiritual guidance. Our goal is to develop life skills and foster a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Each team member contributes to recycling goods that help repair broken lives.

The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Production Assistant (Truck Driver) to complete driving routes for pickups and drop-offs of donations at the warehouse, donation boxes, and donor homes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the security and safe operation of the vehicle and equipment. Report accidents immediately and complete necessary paperwork.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report issues promptly.
• Keep the truck cab and box clean and organized.
• Plan daily routes based on scheduled pickups and calls.
• Develop and follow assigned routes, including proper bagging or carding of donations.
• Represent The Salvation Army courteously to customers and donors, following the 'Manual for Production Assistants.'
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to dress code.
• Keep accurate records such as delivery manifests and trip logs.
• Load and unload the truck carefully, securing goods to prevent damage.
• Assist Thrift Store personnel with delivery placement and store organization.
• Supervise and instruct the Truck Helper, fostering good habits and professionalism.
• Support the work therapy program by demonstrating professional conduct and supervision.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or administrator.

Qualifications
