Responsibilities

• Operate the vehicle safely, report accidents promptly, and complete necessary paperwork.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of the truck.
• Plan routes, make calls for scheduled pickups, and develop efficient routes.
• Represent The Salvation Army professionally, treat customers courteously, and follow the Manual for Production Assistants.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and trips.
• Load and unload the truck carefully, securing goods to prevent damage.
• Assist with delivery tasks and supervise the Truck Helper, providing a good example and guidance.
• Support the work therapy program by demonstrating professional conduct and supervision.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or administrator.
