Job summary

Santa Rita Landscaping Inc. in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Tree Climber Specialist to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of verified tree climbing experience, including palms and tall trees up to 75+ feet, and a strong knowledge of ISA and ANSI safety standards with proper PPE and rigging. We provide annual Aerial Rescue training, weekly Tailgate Safety Meetings, and in-house instruction from ISA Certified Arborists.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of verifiable work as a tree climber.
• Experience climbing palms and all species of trees from 20 to 75+ feet tall.
• Familiarity with ISA and ANSI safety standards, PPE, and rigging systems.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and perform proper pruning and safety practices.
• Work in extreme heat (>110 degrees) safely and efficiently.
• Climb living and dead trees using proper PPE, rigging, and trimming/removal techniques.
• Operate equipment such as skid loaders, stump grinders, chainsaws, and chippers.
• Maintain company equipment (sharpen chains, clean air filters, lubricate grease points).
• Receive direction and meet production/quality standards.
• Be available Fridays, weekends, emergencies, and monsoon season.
