Ground Operations Technician / Arborist Trainee – Hooksett, NH
$19 - $23 per hour

The ideal candidate is self-motivated and eager to learn all aspects of the trade, including felling, climbing, rigging, equipment operation, and vegetation management.

This is a full-time, year-round outdoor position involving physical labor. Responsibilities include manual vegetation removal, safe operation of forestry equipment (woodchipper, hydraulic tools, chainsaws), and performing line clearance, pruning, and removal tasks.

Requirements:

• Ability to work 45 hours per week with a strong work ethic
• Minimum age of 18 with a High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Physical capability to perform job duties (e.g., walking on uneven ground, lifting up to 75 lbs.)
• Willingness to work at heights up to 75 feet
• Willingness to learn and operate bucket trucks and equipment safely
• Willingness to obtain a CDL A or B license
• Ability to obtain and maintain necessary licenses and certifications for career growth
• Successful completion of a post-offer physical, drug screen, background check, and motor vehicle check
