Job summary

Lucas Tree Experts in Glastonbury, CT is seeking Arborist Trainee / Climber for transmission work. This full-time, outdoor role involves learning felling, climbing, rigging, equipment operation and vegetation management with on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• No experience is required; Lucas Tree Experts provides on-the-job training.
• Must be able to work 45 hours weekly.
• Must be 18+ with a HS diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Must be able to carry 75 lbs. and work outdoors in various weather.

Responsibilities

• Manually remove vegetation from work areas and perform line clearance.
• Safely operate forestry equipment (skidders, mowers, chainsaws, ATVs).
• Conduct pruning, removals, and vegetation management tasks.
• Learn to run a bucket truck and operate equipment safely.
