We provide hands-on training to ensure your success. As a Plant Health Care Specialist, your responsibilities include:

• Performing tree and shrub care treatments using appropriate tools and methods
• Communicating with clients about work performed
• Mixing and applying pesticides and fertilizers safely and according to regulations
• Maintaining and operating equipment and vehicles properly
• Keeping accurate records and reports
• Driving a company vehicle safely between sites
• Working as part of a tree care crew under supervision during off-season

Qualifications include:

• A passion for nature and the outdoors
• Interest in working outdoors year-round in various weather conditions
• Ability to obtain a Commercial Pesticide Applicator License (we will assist with exam costs)
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to identify regional trees and shrubs
• Experience in tree care, landscaping, forestry, turf care, or horticulture is preferred but not required
• Degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, or related fields is preferred but not required
