We provide hands-on training to ensure your success. As a Plant Health Care Specialist, your responsibilities include:

• Performing tree and shrub care treatments using spray, injection, and soil injection tools as prescribed by the Arborist Representative
• Communicating with clients about work performed
• Mixing and applying pesticides and fertilizers safely and according to labels and laws
• Maintaining and operating equipment and vehicles properly
• Completing accurate records and reports daily
• Safely driving a company vehicle to multiple properties
• Working as part of a tree care crew under supervision during the off-season

Qualifications and skills include:

• A passion for nature and the outdoors
• Interest in working outdoors year-round in all weather conditions
• Ability to obtain a Commercial Pesticide Applicator License (we will cover exam costs and prep assistance)
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to identify regional trees and shrubs
• Prior experience in tree care, landscaping, forestry, turf care, or horticulture is preferred but not required
• Degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Turfgrass, Environmental Science, Plant Science, Outdoor Recreation, Agriculture, or related fields is preferred but not required
