Job summary

The Davey Tree Expert Company in Concord, MA invites applications for an Arborist Trainee Internship, with work sites in Acton, MA and Concord, offering hands-on field experience. This internship begins in Spring-Summer 2027 and provides exposure to residential tree care, pruning, installation, Plant Health Care, and client service.

You will work alongside experienced arborists, learn safety and equipment operation, and participate in training programs through our LMS.

Qualifications

• Studying Arboriculture, Urban Forestry, Natural Resources, Horticulture, Landscape Design, Forestry or related discipline.
• Driver's license required; CDL a plus.

Responsibilities

• Learn to be a tree doctor; work in the field with arborists and landscape professionals to deliver client service and maintain health of trees and landscapes.
• Tree pruning, removal, cabling, bracing and maintenance; installation; safe operation of equipment; plant health care; daily operations exposure; client service and sales fundamentals.
