Bartlett Tree Experts is seeking an Arborist Crew Leader in York, PA to lead a tree care crew and perform services safely and efficiently. You will mentor teammates, ensure standards, and coordinate with clients and management.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of tree climbing (DdRT or SRT) with aerial lift experience.
• Valid driver's license; Class B CDL preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
• Demonstrated leadership, supervision, and teamwork skills.
• Strong communication with clients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform and supervise all arboriculture tasks for crews.
• Pruning, cabling and bracing, rigging, and removals as assigned.
• Operate and maintain equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, lifts).
• Train crew members for designated jobs and ensure safety standards.
• Communicate with clients and Arborist Representative to coordinate work.

As an Arborist Crew Leader, you will play an important role in

• Safely performing and supervising all aspects of arboriculture, including
  1. Pruning
  2. Cabling and bracing
  3. Rigging
  4. Removals
  5. Properly maintaining and operating equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts)
• Bringing a cooperative and enthusiastic attitude to the job site
• Supervising and managing crews while performing tree care services, as directed by the Arborist Representative and Local Manager
• Ensuring that each crew member is trained appropriately for each designated job assignment
• Ensuring that all tree care work is performed in accordance with industry and company standards
• Communicating, answering questions, and building relationships with clients
• A passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoors
• At least three (3) years of tree climbing (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift experience in the tree care industry
• Valid driver's license (Class B CDL preferred)
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions
• Proven initiative, positive attitude, team-oriented, and self-motivated
