Job summary

Bartlett Tree Experts is seeking an experienced Arborist Crew Leader in New Jersey. You will lead a tree care crew, performing pruning, removals, cabling and rigging, while ensuring safety and efficiency on every job.

Based in Tinton Falls/Eatontown area, you will mentor crew members, coordinate work with the Arborist Representative and Local Manager, and uphold Bartlett's high standards for workmanship and client service. A Class B CDL is preferred and year-round outdoor work is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of tree climbing (DdRT or SRT) experience.
• Valid driver’s license; Class B CDL preferred.
• Lead arborist crew safely and efficiently.
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather

Responsibilities

• Safely performing and supervising all arboriculture tasks: pruning, cabling and bracing, rigging, removals, and operating equipment.
• Supervising and managing crews while performing tree care services.
• Ensuring crew members are trained for each job and standards are met.
• Communicating with clients and building relationships during projects.

Responsibilities

• Safely performing and supervising all aspects of arboriculture, including
  • Pruning
  • Cabling and bracing
  • Rigging
  • Removals
  • Properly maintaining and operating equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts)
• Bringing a cooperative and enthusiastic attitude to the job site
• Supervising and managing crews while performing tree care services, as directed by the Arborist Representative and Local Manager
• Ensuring that each crew member is trained appropriately for each designated job assignment
• Ensuring that all tree care work is performed in accordance with industry and company standards
• Communicating, answering questions, and building relationships with clients
• A passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoors
• At least three (3) years of tree climbing (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift experience in the tree care industry
• Valid driver's license (Class B CDL preferred)
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions
• Proven initiative, positive attitude, team-oriented, and self-motivated
