Job summary

Bartlett Tree Experts in Stamford, CT, is seeking an Arborist Climber to join our tree care crew. The role centers on tree climbing and assisting Arborist Crew Leaders in delivering residential and commercial tree and shrub services.

Responsibilities include ground and aerial lift tasks, tree identification, pruning, removals, cabling, bracing, and root collar work, with strict safety adherence. A valid driver’s license and outdoor work capability are required; growth through in-house training

Qualifications

• At least one year of tree climbing experience (DdRT or SRT) is required or preferred.
• Experience with aerial lifts is beneficial.
• Must adhere to safety policies and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Perform ground, tree climbing, and aerial lift duties as directed by the Arborist Crew Leader.
• Safely execute all arboriculture tasks, including tree identification, risk assessments, pruning, removals, cabling and bracing, and root collar excavations.
• Maintain and operate tools and equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts).
• Follow all safety rules and company safety policies; maintain a passion for nature and the outdoors.
