Job summary

Bartlett Tree Experts is seeking an Arborist Climber on Martha's Vineyard to join a field crew performing tree and shrub care on residential and commercial properties.

You will climb trees, operate aerial lifts, assist Crew Leaders, and engage in ground and rooftop tasks while upholding Bartlett's safety policies and commitment to professional development.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of tree climbing (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift experience.
• Valid driver's license; Class B CDL preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
• Safety-focused and willing to follow company safety policies.
• Willingness to participate in training and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Perform ground, tree climbing, and aerial lift duties per Arborist Crew Leader.
• Safely perform arboriculture tasks: tree identification, risk assessments, pruning, removals, cabling/bracing, root collar excavations.
• Maintain and operate tools and equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts).
• Adhere to safety rules and company safety policies.
• Support Bartlett's environmental stewardship and outdoor focus.

As an Arborist Climber, you will be an integral member of a tree care crew with the primary responsibility of tree climbing and assisting Arborist Crew Leaders in performing all tree and shrub care services on residential and commercial properties.
