Salary: Not specified

Position: Climbing Arborist
Company: Seaders Tree Care LLC
Location: Center of the Universe (Corvallis, Oregon)
Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time

Who we are:

We are a small, family owned tree service located in the mid-Willamette Valley. Our primary focus is on expert pruning and tree preservation, however, we provide the full range of arboricultural services including planting, tree removal, and stump grinding. Tree work is a hard dollar and we believe that you cannot thrive in this industry long term if you don’t enjoy your work and the people you work alongside. Because of this, we make sure to prioritize growth and learning opportunities and take time to have fun along the way.

We have three ISA certified arborists and three climbers on our team of six field employees. I have worked in tree care for 17 years as an employee, contract climber and now business owner for the last 15 years. Because of this, I understand the need for creating good jobs that are competetively paid, have work-life balance, and career advancement opportunities.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform ground, tree climbing (DdRT or SRT), and aerial lift duties as directed by the Arborist Crew Leader
  • Conduct safe and efficient arboriculture services, including tree identification, tree risk assessments, pruning, removals, cabling and bracing, root collar excavations, stump grinding and planting.
  • Maintain and operate all necessary tools and equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts)
  • Adhere to all safety rules and company safety policies
Qualifications:
  • Arborists with at least three years of professional tree-climbing experience are preferred. Applicants with less experience will be considered.
  • Ability to work outdoors year-round, in all weather conditions
  • A passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoors
  • A positive, team oriented attitude.
  • Valid driver’s license
What We Offer:
  • Competitive Compensation based on experience. Generally $25-$40/hr.
  • Safety-first Culture: We prioritize a safe and professional workplace
  • Advancement Opportunities: We promote from within and encourage your career growth.
  • Benefits for Full-time Employees: Medical insurance, flexible time off, and company-provided uniforms, PPE, gear, and equipment
  • Professional Development: Industry credential pay increases, with support for ongoing learning and certification

If you’re ready to grow with us and thrive in a company that values safety, professionalism, and excellence in arboriculture, we’d love to hear from you!
