Job summary

SavATree, a nationwide leader in tree, shrub, and lawn care services, seeks an Arborist Assistant to support sales and branch operations in Redwood City. You will make outbound calls, schedule appointments, and manage proposals with a focus on accuracy and customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have an associate’s degree or higher, strong communication skills, and experience with sales activities. The role offers growth, teamwork, and a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including professional phone manners.
• Experience with outbound calling and sales/marketing (2+ years a plus).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, internet, and database systems (training provided).
• Experience with AR, AP, Payroll, HR, Benefits, and multiline phone systems.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound sales calls and generate leads.
• Create proposals and schedule customer appointments.
• Maintain multiple sales calendars.
• Provide world‑class customer service on inbound calls.
• Process payments and build rapport with customers.
• Administer the customer database and maintain accurate records.
• Complete paperwork efficiently and support Sales Arborists.
• Participate in call monitoring and coaching sessions for training and quality support.

Pay for this position will be $28-30/hr based on experience.

Position Summary

As an Arborist Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting sales and branch operations. A typical day may include:

• Making outbound sales calls and generating leads
• Creating proposals and scheduling customer appointments
• Maintaining multiple sales calendars
• Providing world-class customer service on inbound calls
• Building positive rapport with customers and processing payments
• Administering the customer database and maintaining accurate records
• Completing paperwork efficiently and supporting Sales Arborists
• Participating in call monitoring and coaching sessions for training and quality support

About You

You are eager to learn and grow within the business and the arboricultural industry. You bring:

• An associate's degree or higher (preferred)
