Bartlett Tree Experts is seeking a professional Arborist for Tucson, AZ. You will join a safety-focused team performing tree care, pruning, removals, and related tasks in outdoor settings.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in the tree care industry is preferred.
• Valid driver's license; Class B CDL preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
• Valid state pesticide applicator license or ability to obtain after hire.
• Passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Perform ground, tree climbing, and aerial lift duties as directed by the Arborist Crew Leader.
• Tree identification and risk assessments.
• Pruning, removals, cabling and bracing, and root collar excavations.
• Maintaining and operating tools and equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts).
• Performing tree and shrub care treatments by spray, injections, or soil injections as prescribed.

Responsibilities

As an Arborist, you will play an important role in:

• Performing ground, tree climbing, and aerial lift duties in support of specific job assignments, as directed by the Arborist Crew Leader
• Safely performing all aspects of arboriculture, including:
  • Tree identification
  • Tree risk assessments
  • Pruning
  • Removals
  • Cabling and bracing
  • Root collar excavations
  • Properly maintaining and operating tools and equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts)
• Performing tree and shrub care treatments using spray, tree injection, and soil injection tools as prescribed by the Arborist Representative
• Learning, understanding, and adhering to all safety rules and company safety policies

Qualifications

• A passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoors
• At least one (1) year of experience in the tree care industry is preferred
• Valid driver's license (Class B CDL preferred)
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions
• Valid state pesticide applicator license or ability to obtain following hire date – We will pay for the cost of the exam and help you prepare!
