Bartlett Tree Experts in White River Junction, VT, is hiring a Production Arborist to support ground work, climbing, and aerial lift duties in a safe outdoor setting.

You will work with experienced crew leaders, perform tree care tasks, and contribute to high standards of service. The company offers training, growth potential, and a range of benefits as part of a safety-first environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in the tree care industry preferred.
• Valid state pesticide applicator license or ability to obtain after hire.
• Valid driver's license with clean motor vehicle record.

Responsibilities

• Perform ground, tree climbing, and aerial lift duties as directed by the Crew Leader.
• Safely perform all aspects of arboriculture: tree identification, pruning, removals, cabling/bracing, root collar excavations.
• Maintain and operate tools and equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts).
• Conduct tree and shrub care treatments using sprays, injections, and soil injections as prescribed.

As an Arborist, you will play an important role in

• Performing ground, tree climbing, and aerial lift duties in support of specific job assignments, as directed by the Arborist Crew Leader
• Safely performing all aspects of arboriculture, including
  • Tree identification
  • Tree risk assessments
  • Pruning
  • Removals
  • Cabling and bracing
  • Root collar excavations
  • Properly maintaining and operating tools and equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts)
• Performing tree and shrub care treatments using spray, tree injection, and soil injection tools as prescribed by the Arborist Representative
• Learning, understanding, and adhering to all safety rules and company safety policies
• A passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoors
• At least one (1) year of experience in the tree care industry is preferred
• Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record (Class B CDL preferred)
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions
• Valid state pesticide applicator license or ability to obtain following hire date - We will pay for the cost of the exam and help you prepare!
