About the Role
As Arbor Manager, you'll oversee all tree care operations across the Las Vegas region, providing leadership across operational excellence and sales growth. Reporting to the General Manager, you'll supervise the entire Arbor team, ensuring exceptional tree care service delivery while upholding the highest standards of safety and industry compliance, and driving revenue.
What You'll Do
- Supervise and develop Arbor team members
- Provide direction for tree care services, sales, and project execution
- Implement training programs covering arboriculture best practices, safety protocols, and technical standards
- Participate in recruiting and hiring high-performing arbor team member with the Talent & Culture team
- Provide mentorship and technical coaching across all operational levels
Tree Care Operations Management
- Direct and coordinate daily tree care operations across all locations
- Develop and implement tree care procedures, quality standards, and safety protocols
- Manage crew scheduling, equipment deployment, and inventory control
- Monitor project execution for compliance with company standards and client specifications
- Analyze operational data to identify improvement opportunities
- Coordinate with the Operations Managers on integrated service delivery
- Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
- Review and approve tree care proposals and pricing strategies
- Conduct complex site assessments and tree inventories for high-value opportunities
- Serve as technical arbor consultant for complex client needs
Performance & Financial Management
- Manage KPIs including revenue targets, service quality, safety compliance, client satisfaction, and team retention
- Conduct monthly and quarterly operations reviews of revenue, profitability, and productivity
- Manage arbor operational budget and financial performance
Service Delivery & Quality Assurance
- Ensure consistent, high-quality tree care service delivery across all regional operations
- Maintain strategic oversight of tree health programs and arboricultural standards
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and certification requirements
Strategic Planning & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Develop arbor strategies aligned with company growth objectives
- Plan and manage seasonal tree care programs and specialized treatment schedules
- Support business development efforts through arboricultural expertise
- Ensure seamless integration with landscape maintenance, irrigation, and enhancement services
Communication & Reporting
- Report regularly to the General Manager on performance, revenue, and strategic initiatives
- Use Slack for all internal communications and coordination
- Present arbor performance and technical recommendations to senior leadership
- Perform other duties as assigned
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Certified Arborist (preferred - valid certification and commitment to continuous education required)
- Minimum 7 years of experience in arboriculture or tree care
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience managing arbor operations and sales functions
- Demonstrated experience in multi-location operations, financial analysis and budget management, and quality/safety control
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (five-year MVR clearance required)
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, Slack, and CRM systems
Physical Requirements
- Combination of office environment and regular outdoor field work in varying weather conditions
- Ability to walk, stand, climb, and navigate uneven terrain during property assessments
- Ability to perform hands-on tree care work, including operating chainsaws, pruning equipment, and chippers, when supporting or training crews
- Capability to climb ladders and use aerial equipment
- Ability to lift and move equipment and materials up to 75 lbs regularly
- Visual acuity and color perception to assess tree health, disease, and pest damage
- Availability for varying hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and emergency response to storm damage or urgent client needs
- Extensive driving between multiple locations and job sites
