WonderWorks is an indoor amusement park that combines education and entertainment with more than 100 hands-on exhibits that challenge the mind and spark the imagination.

WonderWorks Pigeon Forge is looking for Basement Attendants to join our team! Our Basement Attendants create WONDERful experiences for our guests by hosting thrilling laser tag battles, assisting with arcade gameplay, awarding arcade prizes to winners, and serving customers at our Cruisin' Cafe!

Responsibilities:

1. Greet and interact positively with all guests that enter the basement area
2. Act as a guide to the Laser Tag facility by explaining how the games work and the safety rules, demonstrating the function of the Laser Tag vest and gun, and preparing the guests for playtime
3. Courteously respond to guest inquiries and comments by providing timely and accurate information about Laser Tag, arcade games, and other basement amenities
4. Assist guests with arcade games
5. Maintain the arcade prize counter for ticket redemption, ensuring redemption items remain stocked and organized
6. Perform other duties as assigned
7. Positively welcome, greet, and engage with all guests in the café area
8. Take and prepare orders for guests in a high-volume environment
9. Operate point-of-sale system to process guest orders
10. Stock food and beverages according to FIFO methods and health code
11. Ensure all tables and seating areas are clean and the condiment area is stocked

Qualifications:

1. Excellent communication skills and customer service skills
2. Ability to anticipate guest needs
3. Ability to work any shift including nights, weekends, holidays, and weather conditions
4. High school diploma or equivalent preferred
5. Previous themed entertainment experience is preferred
6. Basic mathematical skills, as needed to make change
7. Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
8. Ability to stand, bend, and walk for prolonged periods
