Job summary

World Relief Chicagoland is seeking an Arabic-speaking Community Ambassador to engage immigrant communities, share policy updates, connect people to resources, and expand partnerships across Chicagoland (Aurora and DuPage). This limited-term role runs through 06/30/2027 and supports outreach, education, and service delivery across multiple programs.

The role requires Arabic fluency (Sudanese preferred), MS Office skills, and a valid driver’s license to drive and coordinate field activities,

Qualifications

• Arabic language fluency required; Sudanese Arabic preferred.
• Member of an immigrant community.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
• Ability to work occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends.
• MS Office skills required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular outreach to community members, identify needs, provide referrals to services.
• Assist newcomers in navigating internal and external resources.
• Gather, share, and communicate feedback from immigrant communities to identify trends and gaps.
• Build and maintain relationships with community partners and share information about resources.
• Engage with own and other immigrant communities to increase awareness of services.
