Job summary

Language Services Associates in Wichita, KS is seeking Arabic-English interpreters to facilitate communication for LEP communities across diverse settings. As an Independently Contracted Interpreter, you will join a network that delivers high-quality interpretation services.

Responsibilities include maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and adhering to client protocols. Prior interpreting experience and certifications are preferred, and access to transportation is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Full fluency in both English and Arabic.
• Ability to provide a high level of client service.
• 1+ year of professional interpreting experience preferred.
• Industry specific certifications/trainings preferred (CMI, CCHI, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service.
• Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality.
• Adhere to policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry best practices.
• Adhere to clearance requirements as requested by clients.
• Report on site to any accepted assignments in a timely manner.
• Access to personal or public transport.
