Job summary

Language Services Associates, Inc. is seeking Arabic interpreters to support the Salt Lake City, Utah area. Interpreters will join a network of Independently Contracted Interpreters to facilitate language communication for LEP communities across medical, legal, and customer service environments.

LSA emphasizes confidentiality and professional conduct, with ongoing training and QA monitoring. Flexible assignments support a range of interpreting needs nationwide through a trusted interpreter

Qualifications

• Full fluency in both English and Arabic.
• Familiarity with industry standard best practices: professionalism, courtesy, protocol and confidentiality.
• Ability to provide a high level of client service.
• Access to personal or public transport.
• 2+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred.
• Industry-specific certifications/trainings preferred (CMI, CCHI, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service
• Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict confidentiality
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including interpretation protocols and industry best practices
• Complete training(s) and participate in ongoing Quality Assurance monitoring
