Job summary

A leading technology company is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to join their AR/VR development team. Located preferably in San Jose or Bellevue, WA, this role involves ensuring precision and quality in immersive display systems through rigorous testing and calibration. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in optical systems and immersive technologies, along with strong technical skills in display calibration and measurement systems. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in testing and calibration of optical or display systems.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with AR/VR devices or immersive display technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive test protocols for AR/VR headsets and immersive devices.
• Perform advanced display calibration using colorimeters, spectroradiometers, and photometers.
• Validate stereo camera systems for accurate depth perception.
• Implement motion-to-photon latency measurement systems using high-speed cameras and sensors.
• Create detailed test procedures, calibration protocols, and validation reports.
