Job summary

Sigma Connectivity Inc. in the Bay Area, CA, seeks an Audio and Acoustic Systems Integration Engineer to support design studies and resolve audio hardware issues for AR/VR products. You will evaluate audio quality and collaborate across teams to bring up development hardware.

The role requires strong acoustics knowledge, DSP fundamentals, and experience with MATLAB/Python and audio test equipment. Travel up to 15% to Asia is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in acoustics or EE/ME.
• Strong math background in physics and signal paths.
• Experience with DSP, psychoacoustics, and audio testing.

Responsibilities

• Support design and prototyping of audio subsystems for AR/VR.
• Assist noise and vibration subsystem design, e.g., VR fans.
• Perform acoustic analysis via measurements and DOEs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for hardware bring-up.
• Lead development activity meetings and track requirements.
• Travel about 15% to Asia.
