Dealer Owned Warranty Company LLC, based in Parsippany, is seeking an analytical accountant to join our accounts receivable team. The role centers on dealer remittances, client dealer incentives, and coordinating with sales agents on commissions.

A strong customer-service mindset and clear communication with partners are essential. Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of AR or accounting experience, proficiency in Excel, and familiarity with QuickBooks or NetSuite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred but not required.
• 2+ years in accounts receivable, accounting operations, or staff accounting.
• Experience processing a high volume of invoices.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to perform reconciliations and validate information.
• Proficient with Excel and accounting software; takes accountability.
• Able to meet deadlines, prioritize, and work in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage preparation of dealer remittances and invoices with accuracy.
• Prepare and process agent commissions payments based on dealer performance.
• Calculate and distribute dealer pack and incentives payments per agreements.
• Collaborate with inside and outside sales agents to resolve dealer account questions.
• Post journal entries to GL and reconcile assigned accounts.
• Support ad hoc accounting projects and provide performance insights.
• Prepare clear documentation of all financial transactions and work performed.
• Follow processes and suggest improvements to increase efficiency.
• Complete additional responsibilities as directed by management.
