Job summary

6 Degrees Group is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist in Atlanta to manage transactional AR for a portfolio of properties. You will record cash receipts, allocate payments to rent and CAM, and collaborate with property operations to ensure accurate allocations.

The role offers an in-office, Monday–Friday schedule with a detail-oriented AR professional taking ownership of high-volume processes within the team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounts receivable experience in commercial real estate.
• Experience with property accounting software (MRI, Yardi) and multi-tenant portfolios is a plus.
• Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Receive tenant checks and electronic receipts, processing bank deposits for an assigned property portfolio.
• Record cash receipts against tenant accounts, allocating payments to rent, CAM, recoveries and other items.
• Investigate and resolve unclear or misapplied receipts by researching tenant history and payment details.
• Partner with property management to confirm correct allocation when the receipt is unclear.
