Job summary

Legent Health seeks an Accounts Receivable Specialist in Plano, TX to manage AR and denial resolution for inpatient and outpatient procedures across spine, orthopedics, ENT, and pain management. You will investigate denials, work with our billing vendor, and perform root-cause analysis to reduce write-offs and improve cash flow.

The role requires 3–5 years in medical AR or denial management, with strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of medical AR, denial management, or revenue cycle experience.
• Experience reviewing eligibility, coding, modifiers, and authorization rules.
• Understanding of CARC and RARC denial codes and payer policies.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Research claims and denials using EOBs, notes, and payer policies.
• Perform root cause analysis and identify coding or documentation gaps.
• Coordinate with vendors to facilitate corrected submissions or appeals.
• Monitor outcomes and aging reports to ensure timely resolutions.
• Identify denial trends and propose process improvements.
