Job summary

Left Lane Auto, LLC in Champaign, IL seeks an Accounting Manager to lead AR, cash forecasting, and the AP partnership across multiple locations. The role reports to Finance leadership and collaborates with Operations and Store Managers to optimize working capital and drive process improvements.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on accounting expertise, strong analytics, and the ability to standardize processes across locations while managing a high-volume transaction environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with significant AR/AP responsibility.
• Experience supervising accounting staff in a multi-location environment.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP/accounting systems.
• CPA or CMA a plus; automotive/multi-location experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee AR across locations: invoicing, cash application, reconciliation, collections, and maintenance.
• Partner with AP Manager on end-to-end AP, payment timing, and vendor master data.
• Maintain short-term cash forecast and reporting on collections and payables.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close; assist audits and controls.
• Lead, train, and develop AR team; establish KPIs and accountability.
