Job summary

Weston & Sampson Engineers Inc in Wilmington, MA is seeking an Aquatics Technician with 5+ years of pool maintenance experience and strong mechanical skills to operate and service commercial pools at client sites.

You will perform routine contracts, provide on-call emergency support, start systems, and upsell maintenance contracts while ensuring safety protocols and regulatory compliance. This role offers direct client interaction and team collaboration in a growing, employee-owned firm.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical swimming pool, mechanical maintenance and repairs experience with progressively more responsibility.
• OSHA 10 certification.
• CPO certification.
• Ability to troubleshoot pool water chemistry and equipment failures is a must.
• Must be proficient in servicing all commercial swimming pool equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform recurring pool operation contracts (daily/weekly/monthly).
• Perform on-call emergency services.
• Startup filters and chemical systems.
• Upsell maintenance contracts for all new projects.
• Ensure sites adhere to company protocols and applicable regulations.
• Assist with pool construction and repairs as directed by supervisor.
• Perform pool inspections, maintenance, and repair tasks.
• Perform UV, heater, controller, and VFD startups.
• Communicate with scheduler on manpower needs.
• Collaborate with Construction Manager and Foreman.
• Track long lead items to keep on schedule.
• Be aware of labor time and material expenses for the project.
• Maintain strong client communication.
• Document site activities.
• Address client issues and queries in a timely manner.
• Upsell maintenance and repair services.

Weston & Sampson Services is seeking an Aquatics Technician based out of our Wilmington, MA location.

What you'll do:

• Work with Corporate Safety Officer to ensure sites adhere to company protocols and applicable regulations.
• Assist with pool construction and repairs as director by supervisor.
• Perform pool inspections, maintenance, and repair tasks.
• Perform UV, heater, controller, and VFD Startups.
• Communicate with scheduler on manpower needs.

Pay Range: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour depending on experience
