Position Summary

As an Aquatics Swim Instructor, you will work in a fast-paced environment. You will help both adults and children improve their swimming skills. You will teach life skills to our youngest members and evaluate their swimming ability to establish the correct swim level. Additionally, you will help maintain the cleanliness and order of our Aquatics Facilities.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Instruct swimming lessons and Aquatics events
• Respond to member questions, comments, and concerns
• Ensure a safe, clean, and organized pool area
• Promote and sell all Aquatics programs and services

Position Requirements

• Working towards a High School Diploma or GED
• CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard Certifications (within 60 days of hire)
• Complete and pass all Life Time courses upon hiring
• Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods
• Effective communication skills with guests regarding Life Time products and services
• Ability to swim 25 yards/meters continuously
• Ability to routinely lift more than 20 lbs

Preferred Requirements

• Experience in swim lesson instruction or coaching
