Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Richmond is seeking a full-time Service Delivery Director to lead the Aquatics department at the Northside YMCA. The role focuses on growing aquatics programming, increasing branch membership, and enhancing community impact through strong leadership of staff and programs.

Responsibilities include staff development, overseeing swim lessons and lifeguards, coordinating water fitness, and collaborating with other departments and community partners to deliver excellent service.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of aquatics management experience.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to create and run programs and build relationships with members and staff.
• Attention to detail and leadership skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Staff development and program enhancement.
• Oversee swim lesson program; supervise lifeguards; manage water exercise schedule and instructors; ensure pool safety and cleanliness.
• Coordinate and schedule swim lessons and programs; on-deck supervision of programs and lifeguards; teach group swim lessons or support instructors.
• Collaborate with other departments and community partners to engage members and deliver excellent service.
