Job summary

The Town of Castle Rock invites applications for an Aquatics Supervisor - Programming in the Parks and Recreation Department. This role leads comprehensive aquatic programming, including swim lessons and a developmental swim team, while supervising staff and ensuring safe, inclusive experiences for all participants.

You will recruit, train, and schedule part-time staff, manage program budgets and communications, and collaborate with facilities and vendors to deliver high-quality aquatic programs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in recreation management, community recreation, aquatic resources, or related field.
• Minimum two years of professional experience in aquatic programming with one year of supervision.
• Colorado Driver's License; CPR/First Aid; Lifeguard Certification required or obtainable within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, implement, supervise, and evaluate aquatic programs for all ages and abilities.
• Recruit, hire, train, schedule, supervise, and evaluate part-time aquatics staff.
• Develop and maintain swim lesson curriculum and competitive swim teams.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and high-quality customer service across programs.
