Job summary

Baierl Family YMCA is seeking an Aquatics Program Coordinator to help develop, implement, and evaluate community aquatics programs at the Baierl Family YMCA in Sewickley, PA. This full-time, non-exempt role reports to the Program Director and requires flexibility for nights and weekends.

The position supports program budgets, marketing efforts, and volunteer/staff development while promoting YMCA values and safety standards. Prior related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 21 years of age.
• Associate’s degree in related field or equivalent preferred.
• CPR/First Aid/AED/Emergency Oxygen certifications required.
• Ability to work nights and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate program activities to meet YMCA objectives.
• Assist with development, implementation, and evaluation of programs.
• Assist with program budget management.
• Assist with program marketing materials.
• Assist in recruiting volunteers and developing staff/participants.
• Ensure facilities/offices are clean, neat, and organized.
• Promote character development in all programs.
• Carry out special projects as assigned.

• Assists with the implementation, development, and monitoring of all programs.
• Assists with management of program budget.

QUALIFICATIONS

• CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, Basic First Aid and Emergency Oxygen.
• Ability to work nights and weekends as needed.
