Job summary

The Town of Parker seeks a versatile Aquatics Instructor to deliver private and group swimming lessons, adaptive instruction, Masters coaching, and lifeguard safety training. Under supervision, you will ensure safe operations, prepare equipment, and maintain clear, professional communications with clients and staff.

Responsibilities include evaluating participants, reporting incidents, and upholding safety guidelines across programs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
• Must be a current Town of Parker Swimming Lesson Instructor.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to swim at or above the teaching level is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides one-on-one or small group instruction, coaching and evaluation to clients and staff.
• Upholds facility safety guidelines and follows policies.
• Ensures all equipment and supplies are present and in proper working order.
• Evaluates participants and provides feedback.
• Reports incidents to supervisor and provides first aid as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
