Job summary

The Town of Parker is seeking an enthusiastic aquatics instructor to deliver pool and land-based instruction for clients and staff. You will supervise safety, set up and maintain equipment, and provide coaching across multiple programs including Private Swimming, Adaptive Swimming, Masters Swimming, Lifeguard & Safety Instruction, and Auditor & In-Service Instruction.

Qualifications

Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
Must be a current Town of Parker Swimming Lesson Instructor.
Possession of, or ability to obtain a CPR and First Aid certification within 30 days of hire.
Ability to swim at or above the teaching level is required.

Responsibilities

Provides one-on-one or small group instruction, coaching and evaluation to clients and staff through Aquatics Division Programs.
Upholds and enforces facility safety guidelines and follows applicable policies.
Ensures course area is safe, set up and clean; begins classes on time in an organized manner.
Evaluates participants and provides feedback; maintains records and reports as required.
