Job summary

Spectrum Resorts in Orange Beach, Alabama seeks an Aquatics Manager to oversee all hot tubs operations, ensure safety and water quality, and lead the Aquatics team to deliver safe, high‑quality guest experiences.

Responsibilities include chemical inventory, water testing, record-keeping, training staff, and daily pool/spa maintenance in accordance with health standards. Strong leadership and CPR/CPR-safe practices preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years experience in aquatic operations.
• Certified Pool Operator Certificate required.
• Knowledge of pool chemistry and safety protocols.
• Strong leadership and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation and appearance of all hot tubs.
• Supervise Aquatics team and manage hiring/payroll.
• Maintain chemical inventory and SDS safety compliance.
• Test water quality and calibrate chemical controllers.
• Keep records per Baldwin County Health Department.
• Ensure daily cleaning and inspection of pools and spa areas.
• Repair and maintain small pumps/motors and plumbing.
• Train team members on safety and procedures.
