Job summary

The Wilderness Resort in Wisconsin Dells is seeking an Aquatics Maintenance Technician to ensure the safety, maintenance, and operation of all swimming pools in accordance with state guidelines. The role requires a valid Wisconsin driver's license and flexibility for days, nights, and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities include monitoring water quality, maintaining chemical inventories, inspecting equipment, and performing repairs as needed to keep the waterpark safe and compliant.

Qualifications

• Maintains daily water quality records and reports findings.
• Performs routine maintenance on pool and waterpark recirculation systems.
• Troubleshoots and repairs pumps, boilers, chemical controllers and related components.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily water quality logs and chemical balance.
• Monitor and manage inventory of chemicals and parts.
• Inspect pool areas and safety equipment daily.
• Troubleshoot and repair pumping equipment and controllers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

The Aquatics Maintenance Technician position is responsible for ensuring the safety, maintenance, and operation of all swimming pools outlined by the Wisconsin Department of Health, Social and Agriculture Services.

*Must have a Valid Wisconsin Driver's License (or ability to obtain one) and an acceptable driving record.
*This is a full-time position with days, nights, and weekend open availability.

Essential duties and tasks of the position include but are not limited to:

• Maintain daily records on water quality.
• Maintain adequate chemical and parts inventory for recirculation systems.
• Ensure all pool equipment is working efficiently.
• Daily inspections on all components within the waterparks.
• Trouble shooting and repairing pumping equipment, boiler systems, chemical controllers etc.
• All other duties assigned by Management.
