Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• American Red Cross Lifeguarding certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Enforces pool regulations and educates patrons about pool rules and water safety.
• Recognizes emergencies and performs aquatic emergency rescues and first aid when necessary.
• Provides excellent internal and external customer service and respectfully engages with all patrons and staff at the aquatic center.
• Ensures pools, decks, changing areas, and staff areas are kept clean and orderly.
• Completes required forms and documentation of day-to-day functions and safety checks within the aquatic center.
