Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking an Aquatics Lifeguard to uphold safety on state-of-the-art pools both indoor and outdoor. You will monitor the deck, intervene in potentially dangerous situations, and assist with aquatics events such as Dive in Movies and Poolapalooza.

The role emphasizes safety-minded customer service, with duties including greeting members, rescuing swimmers, and maintaining clean pool areas. Certification requirements and physical abilities are specified.

Qualifications

• Working towards a High School Diploma or GED.
• StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid Certified (or bridge to StarGuard when current certification expires or within 1st year, whichever is first)
• Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping.
• Ability to tread water for 1 minute.
• Ability to swim, retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from the bottom of the pool and swim the brick to the top without stopping.
• Ability to routinely bend to raise more than 20 lbs.
• 6 months of customer service experience (preferred)

Position Requirements

• Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests who have inquiries about Life Time products and services

• Ability to routinely bend to raise more than 20 lbs

Preferred Requirements

Pay

This is an hourly position with wages starting at $18.25 and pays up to $22.75, based on experience and qualifications.
