Job summary

Williamsburg Landing Inc. seeks a Lead Lifeguard to oversee daily aquatic operations, staff supervision, and safety at the Health Club & Spa.

The role includes training staff, conducting orientations for residents and members, and promoting pool programs across the community. Responsibilities include monitoring water chemistry, enforcing safety policies, and coordinating with the Health Club Manager on schedules and performance evaluations.

Qualifications

• Current Lifeguard Certification (ARC or equivalent).
• Current CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid Certification.
• CPO certification preferred or willing to obtain within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day aquatic operations by assigning duties and coordinating lap lane availability.
• Oversee lifeguarding staff to ensure quality work and safety compliance.
• Conduct onboarding and ongoing lifeguard training and rescue techniques.
• Provide personalized member orientations and assist residents with special needs as needed.
• Collaborate with Health Club Manager on staff schedules and performance feedback.
