Job summary

Six Flags St. Louis is hiring for the Aquatics Leadership Team. Become a valued team member in a high-energy environment, with opportunities to gain experience in lifeguard duties, safety inspections, and guest relations.

Applicants must be at least 16 years old and able to work a varied schedule across mornings, days, and evenings. Outdoor work, physical tasks, and teamwork are essential to keeping the park safe and welcoming for guests.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Must communicate effectively.
• Must obtain ILTP license (Jeff Ellis & Associates).
• Must push/pull 50 lbs and lift 25 lbs.
• Available to work a varied schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
• Professional, self-motivated with strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, friendly, and clean work environment.
• Perform all Attendant and Lifeguard duties, meeting Six Flags and Ellis & Associates standards.
• Ensure Slide Attendants and Lifeguards adhere to policies and procedures.
• Interact professionally with guests and team members to inform of park policies.
• Coordinate and organize work assignments, breaks, and rotations.
• Complete reports such as rotation grids, maintenance reports, and training records.
• Perform daily safety inspections on attractions.
• Train Slide Attendants and Lifeguards on operating procedures.
• Attend 4 hours of In-Service training each month.
• Evaluate the performance of Slide Attendants and Lifeguards.
• Perform other duties as deemed necessary by management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, friendly, and clean work environment.
• Perform all Attendant and Lifeguard duties, meeting Jeff Ellis & Associates and Six Flags standards.
• Ensure Slide Attendants and Lifeguards are performing duties correctly and adhering to all Six Flags and Ellis & Associates policies and standards.
• Professional Guests and Team Member interaction to assist with problems and to inform of and enforce park policies.
• Coordinate and organize work assignments, breaks, and rotations for Slide Attendants and Lifeguards.
• Complete reports, such as rotation grids, turnstile reports, maintenance reports, training records, and other documents as necessary.
• Perform daily safety inspections on the attractions.
• Train Slide Attendants and Lifeguards on attraction operating procedures.
• Must attend 4 hours of In-Service training each month.
• Evaluate the performance of Slide Attendants and Lifeguards.
• Perform other duties deemed necessary by management.

Qualifications

• Minimum Age: 16
• Must be able to communicate effectively
• Must be able to obtain a Jeff Ellis & Associates ILTP Special Facilities License.
• Must be able to push, pull, or drag at least 50 pounds.
• Must be able to lift and carry at least 25 pounds.
• Available to work a varied schedule to include at least 4 shifts per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Must be professional, self-motivated, the ability to multi-task and have an enthusiastic attitude
• Must have strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with others
