Now Hiring: Group Fitness Instructor – Aquatics (Contract Position)

Location: The League for People with Disabilities

Compensation: 60/40 Revenue Split (Instructor receives 60%, dependent on class size)

Do you love making a splash while helping others get fit? The League for People with Disabilities is seeking a dynamic Group Fitness Instructor – Aquatics to lead engaging, safe, and inclusive aquatic fitness classes in our Wellness Center pool. This is a contracted position with compensation based on a 60/40 revenue split — the more participants, the more you earn!

About Us: The League’s Aquatics Team ensures a safe, supportive, and accessible pool environment for our diverse community of members and participants. Our instructors are enthusiastic leaders who bring energy, compassion, and professionalism to every class.

What You’ll Do:

• Create an upbeat and inclusive environment for all class participants
• Lead group classes according to a set schedule — punctuality is a must!
• Collect and encourage feedback through session-end evaluations
• Collaborate with the Manager of Wellness on class promotion and participant retention
• Keep your certifications and skills current and aligned with best practices
• Support The League’s mission by advocating for individuals with disabilities
• Demonstrate and uphold our 5 Core Values: Accountability, Participant Focus, Quality, Independence, and Mutual Respect

What You’ll Need:

• Minimum age 18
• Current Group Fitness Instructor Certification
• Current CPR and First Aid Certification
• Excellent communication and social skills
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
• Willingness to complete Hepatitis vaccine series (optional)
