The Alexandria Area YMCA is seeking an energetic aquatics leader to oversee staff, programming, and operations, ensuring safe, inclusive aquatic experiences. You will drive safety, manage programs, and support a culture of growth and service to the community.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Health Science, Recreation, or related field.
• Minimum age of 21.
• Current National Lifeguarding Certification or completion within 60 days of hire.
• Current WSI Certification or completion within 60 days of hire.
• 1+ years of experience in an Aquatics-related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products and computer skills.
• Completion of Certified Pool Operator training within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee aquatics staff, programming, and operations at the Y.
• Lead safety and regulatory compliance for all aquatic activities.
• Foster a supportive, inclusive environment for participants and staff.
