Job summary

The YMCA of the Jersey Shore is seeking an Aquatics Coordinator to lead the swim lesson program under the Aquatics Director. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality lessons to children and adults, and coordinating schedules and certifications.

You will act as the primary contact for parents, manage programs in the CRM (Daxko), and train lifeguards and instructors while upholding safety and YMCA policies.

Qualifications

• Current American Red Cross lifeguard, First Aid, CPR/AED, and oxygen administration certifications.
• YMCA Swim Lesson Certification or equivalent accreditation is preferred.
• Experience developing aquatics programs and lesson schedules.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver YMCA swim lessons using the approved curriculum.
• Serve as principal contact for parents and participants.
• Create lesson schedules and manage programs in CRM (Daxko).
• Provide in-service trainings and mentor aquatic staff.
• Ensure safety policies and emergency readiness are maintained.
