START DATE & WORK SCHEDULE

25+ hours per week; weekday and weekend evenings mandatory with a rotating schedule, other hours as needed. Bulk of hours will be available from Memorial Day 5/26/25 through Labor Day 9/1/25.
Examples of Duties
Aquatics Coordinator (Splash Pad) assumes responsibility of attending Heritage Park Splash Pad, and surrounding park area. Responsible for testing chemistry of Heritage Park Splash Pad and making adjustments as necessary. Performs daily inspections of the Splash Pad with regard to safety and cleanliness. Oversees the enforcement of the Splash Pad and Park rules at all times. Provides first aid as necessary. Clears Splash Pad and surrounding park area of debris as necessary. Communicates with other parks and aquatics staff to coordinate and perform necessary responsibilities. Assists custodial and maintenance staff with basic janitorial tasks of on-site restrooms. Reports inventory of facility supplies at the Heritage Park Splash Pad. Maintains accurate reports and submits work orders to the maintenance staff as needed. Aquatics Coordinator is responsible for exemplifying professionalism, serving as a resource for residents and guests and providing excellent customer service. Attends all mandatory staff training. Assists with tours, cleaning, and other facility tasks as needed. Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Typical Qualifications
EDUCATION
High School graduate, or equivalent. Must be 18 years or older.
Previous Work Experience
Previous work experience in lifeguarding, or basic pool maintenance preferred, although not required. Customer service and rule enforcement experience required.
